DALLAS – The Dallas Mavericks announced their 2010-11 season schedule today, which includes 10 games on ESPN, six on TNT and eight on NBATV.

Dallas begins its 31st season on Wednesday, Oct. 27 at home as they take on the Charlotte Bobcats. It also marks the 10th season at American Airlines Center.

The Mavericks 10 ESPN telecasts include Nov. 19 vs. Chicago, Dec. 3 at Utah, Dec. 15 vs. Portland, Dec. 17 vs. Phoenix, Jan. 14 at San Antonio, Jan. 19 vs. L.A. Lakers, Feb. 4 at Boston, Mar. 16 at Golden State, Mar. 27 at Phoenix and Apr. 6 vs. Denver.

TNT features the Mavericks six times. Those games are Dec. 30 vs. San Antonio, Jan. 6 vs. Oklahoma City, Jan. 20 at Chicago, Feb. 10 at Denver, Feb. 17 at Phoenix and Mar. 31 at L.A. Lakers.

Dallas also has eight televised games on NBATV. They are Nov. 6 vs. Denver, Nov. 20 at Atlanta, Nov. 29 vs. Houston, Dec. 11 vs. Utah, Dec. 20 at Miami, Jan. 29 vs. Atlanta, Mar. 12 vs. L.A. Lakers and Apr. 3 at Portland.

The remaining portion of the Mavericks local television schedule for games on TXA21, Fox Sports Southwest and HDNet will be released at a later date. All games can be heard on ESPN 103.3 FM and on KFLC (1270 AM) in Spanish.

PHOENIX — The NBA returns outdoors when the Phoenix Suns play host to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday, October 9 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, CA. Tip-off is still to be determined. The preseason matchup will be televised nationally, exclusively on TNT.

Tickets will go on sale to the public on Monday, May 3 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time online at ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, and at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden box office. Prices range from $10 to $100.

“NBA fans in the Coachella Valley will see two of the NBA’s most popular and entertaining teams square off in the world’s most picturesque outdoor setting for basketball,” said Rick Welts, President and CEO of the Suns.

In addition, six Coachella Valley high school basketball teams will be selling discounted upper level tickets with a portion of proceeds benefiting their school. Tickets are $28. Each team participating in the program will have the opportunity to play in a matchup on the Suns court prior to the game. Games will be played on Wednesday, October 6 and Thursday, October 7. Exact times are still to be determined.

The sold out event, known as the AutoTrader.com Open, saw the Denver Nuggets outlast the Phoenix Suns, 77-72. The Golden State Warriors defeated the Phoenix Suns 104-101 in the second AutoTrader.com Open held on October 10, 2009.

Fans from Phoenix who wish to attend the game can reach Indian Wells in less than a four-hour drive.
