On Sunday the Frogs were hanging out with Mickey Mouse. The fun didn’t stop there as TCU continues to partake in Rose Bowl events around preparing for Wisconsin this Saturday. On Monday, the Horned Frogs took part in the 55th Annual Lawry’s Beef Bowl at Lawry’s The Prime Rib in Beverly Hills.
The legendary steakhouse treated players, coaches and support staff to a prime rib dinner. ESPN college football analyst and Beef Bowl alum Ed Cunningham served as emcee for the evening.
Horned Frog quarterback Andy Dalton, with the help of Lawry’s employees, cut the ceremonial first piece of beef.
The Lawry’s Beef Bowl has been a staple of the Rose Bowl Game since 1956 and is older than all but five of the current 35 bowl games in the college football bowl system.
