My poor little girl had her 2 month checkup today. Even though she's now 3 months. And maybe that's why it was such a rough day - these shots were long overdue :(
I hate getting shots. And now I have to let my little baby get shots. But, she is a tough little mamacita! She hardly cried at all. It was only the after effects that really took their toll on her.
Luckily she slept for most the day, but you could see her pain even in her sleep. :(
Meet Annabelle on Shot Day:
While putting her down for one of her naps, she whimpered for nearly 15 minutes straight! I almost filmed it cause it was so cute, but then felt like I shouldn't document her pain (it might cause more)
Well, Shot Day Part II is in 6 weeks! And I'm dreading it :(

Happy Monday. We have a special guest post from one of my favorite blogger, Barry. He's a fantastic person, full of love and care. Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
Moments
There are brief, almost indefinable moments in time that pass within seconds yet stay with us forever. Within them are words, sights, sounds that often settle upon us as a whisper but echo as a thunderclap when recalled years later. If I could gather these moments and wrap them in a bow I'd present them to you as some of the best parts of me. Because not only do they feed my passion for life, they're the very reason for its existence.
We all remember the big events in our lives; the weddings, the graduations, the births. We remember them because they’re grandiose and their significance is obvious. The impact they have on our lives is easy to understand. But what about the times in between; does nothing life-changing ever happen or do we just not notice? Are we too wrapped up in the bigger things to savour the nuances, disguised as just another tick of the clock?
Like gems sparkling on an endless beach I stumble upon them most unexpectedly. They've appeared as a hummingbird. A yellow-tinted moon as big as the Earth sitting halfway on the horizon and looking like I could drive right into it. As the wonder I've found in a baby’s eyes. These moments appear as glorious visions like the girl in the white sundress, so many years ago, her body silhouetted in the sun as she walked towards me. In passing glances, winks and smiles. Sharing a shower the size of a phone booth with my wife. Reuniting with an old friend. Dancing in the fountain at a concert after security told us not to. Passionately making up with my girlfriend in a rainstorm. In seeing mountains for the first time. Through words of endearment from friends I’ve never met. Incredible, heartwarming words...
A friend of mine told me a story that beautifully illustrates all this. She was making love with her new boyfriend when a bead of sweat fell from his face, gently trickling across her neck. Her eyes were ablaze as she told me about it, saying it was one of the most amazing things she’s ever experienced. Why? Because at that moment they shared, everything was right for her to experience it. Everything came together to make what would otherwise have been insignificant very meaningful. Her reasons for reacting the way she did are known only to her, and if she hadn’t told her lover he would never have known.
If a tiny drop of perspiration can be this unforgettable, imagine the effect a few passing words or the most seemingly insignificant act can have. We'll never fully know the impact we've had on others but some people will go on to carry a part of us with them amongst their sweetest memories, looking back on some little thing we said or did with a contented sigh long after we've forgotten it. This is what breathes life into people, and allows us to shine from within no matter what darkness the weather may bring.
When the day comes to look back on my life, I know that what will have made the trip worthwhile was the people I knew and life’s small gifts, those incredible moments that spurred me out of bed with promise and wonderment of what each new day may bring.

The TCU players who worked out yesterday had a pretty good day. It wasn’t spectacular, but they all did what they had to do. Here is what the experts are saying.
On Dalton
Dalton was among a host of several highly productive collegiate stars who struggled to prove they have that rare combination of arm strength and accuracy necessary to duplicate their success in the NFL. Dalton, Virginia Tech's Tyrod Taylor and Iowa's Ricky Stanzi each must rely on the strength of their productive careers on the field after lackluster performances in Indianapolis.
You won’t find a more technically sound quarterback in the draft than Dalton. He has tremendous touch on shorter throws. Those who criticize him have to understand that he does not possess great arm strength. If you were expecting to see that during his throwing session, you were going to be disappointed. However, he showed surprisingly good touch on deeper downfield sideline throws, which really isn’t a facet of his game that he’s asked to work on much.
Again, you have to understand what Dalton is and what he isn’t. He’s not and never will be a power thrower although his arm is capable of getting stronger over time. What he is, at this point, is a guy who is a rhythm passer and he’s path to playing will be shorter than most because he’s so technically proficient. If you watch the Rose Bowl, you will know exactly what I mean.
On Kerley
The old adage of "playing speed" versus "timed speed" was on display when the receivers worked out. Edmund Gates of Abilene Christian ran a pair of swift 40s, clocking under 4.4. Meanwhile, Jeremy Kerley of TCU struggled to get under 4.6, while Vincent Brown of San Diego State was one-tenth of a second slower. Yet when it was time to catch the football, it was Kerley and Brown who looked as though they had the 4.4 speed

It features three disturbingly sensual and terrifying short-narratives, unified by the twin themes of sex and death. The first tale is "House and Home", written and directed by Sean Hogan, which follows a well-to-do yuppie couple who gets more than they expect when luring a mysterious young woman named Sorrow for perverted sex games.
Next is "Mutant Tool" from Andrew Parkinson which sees a former prostitute and recovering drug addict who gets involved with a boyfriend and a therapist with shadowy criminal relationship. The other tale is called "Bitch", by Simon Rumley, which features a couple who derives a strange sexual pleasure from an unspoken sadomasochistic role-playing game but the man devises a way to teach the bitch to heel, once and for all when she unwittingly takes things one step too far.
No release date set for the psycho-sexual horror anthology.
Day-Lewis was previously widely linked to the role of Professor Moriarty in "Sherlock Holmes" sequel which is now officially titled "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows", but it never comes to fruition as Jared Harris is cast for the part. The Golden Globe-nominated actor is on board to play Abraham Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's biopic.
The new Superman movie which is tentatively called "The Man of Steel" has Henry Cavill set to play the title character. David S. Goyer provides the script and Snyder will serve behind the lens when the principal photography is kicked off in June as reported before.

Her chauffeur stopped her black Jaguar right outside the store, using a parking spot allocated for disabled users only. Chantelle Hughes, who suffers from gentic disease Cystic Fibrosis, waited for the car to move out of the space so she could point out the error to the driver - but was shocked when she saw the famous star.
She tells Britain's Mail on Sunday, "Victoria Beckham needs to realize that disabled people could have parked there. She needs to think about it next time."
Beckham has now apologized for her driver's actions through her spokesperson, who says, "This was a momentary lapse in judgment by Victoria's driver, not something that Victoria was aware of or would ever condone. "Victoria is of course, hugely apologetic for any inconvenience that may have been
Joking about the accolade, the 34 year old told the crowd at the Massachusetts ceremony, "As I entered the premises today, I had to call my mum and say, 'Hey mum. Guess what? I got into Harvard!'" But Shakira's acceptance speech then took a serious turn as she called on students at the prestigious school to do more to help improve education for poor kids around the world.
She said, "Not everyone can study at Harvard University. But everyone, wherever they live, whatever their background, deserves a chance to make the most of his or her potential. And as a child of the developing world, it is my duty to use this voice in every way I can to promote the message about the power of education to change lives."
Shakira, a Unicef Goodwill Ambassador, has been working to improve education and nutrition to kids from impoverished areas of her native Colombia since establishing the Barefoot Foundation when she was 18.
2011 Oscar 'In Memoriam': Celine Dion Sings 'Smile', Corey Haim & Betty Garrett Snubbed
0 comments Posted by pece at 3:56 AMDuring Dion's rendition of the classic song, a giant screen behind her showed montage of talented individuals who passed away in 2010. Mr. Magoo depicter Leslie Nielsen, "Titanic" star Gloria Stuart, actor Tony Curtis, film editor Sally Menke and many others were recognized in the special segment, but Corey Haim and Betty Garrett were not seen in the montage.
For "The Lost Boys" star Haim, this was the second time he got snubbed at movie prize-giving event. He was previously not included in the "In Memoriam" section of the Screen Actors Guild Awards in January.
His former co-star Corey Feldman once commented on the snub at SAG, telling The
