TCU Athletic Director Chris Del Conte released another edition of his “Notes on a Scorecard” today and gave us a little update on the Amon G. Carter stadium renovations. It appears that the east side of the stadium could soon be under construction as well.
Fundraising continues as we look to renovate the east side of Amon G. Carter Stadium in hopes of being able to have the stadium fully completed in time for the 2012 season. If you're interested in making a contribution or purchasing one of the four remaining suites on the west side, please contact associate athletics director Davis Babb at d.babb@tcu.edu or (817) 257-5658.
From what I understand most of the money is ready to go, it is more about the timetable of when everything can be completed. TCU really wants the stadium to be complete by 2012, but that may be hard to do, especially with games schedule to be played there in 2011.
There are some rumors floating now that the Frogs might be moving some of the games from Amon Carter next season to help speed up the process. TCU/Boise State at Cowboys Stadium?? Stay tuned…
