This is a couple of days old but I forgot to post it, so here you go…
From TCU Media Relations: The TCU football program's Academic Progress Rate (APR) score of 972 ranks fourth among the top 25 in the final 2010 BCS standings.
The APR is a term-by-term measure of eligibility and retention for Division I student-athletes that was developed as an early indicator of eventual graduation rates.
The Horned Frogs took the field at the Rose Bowl with 17 players having already earned their degree. Earlier this month, an additional 10 players graduated.
All 13 seniors on the 2009 TCU football team graduated. In the 2008-09 academic year, 20 Horned Frog football players received their degree.
In each of the last three seasons, TCU has been cited by the American Football Coaches Association for its high graduation rate. During that time, the Horned Frogs have a combined 36-3 record.

From TCU Media Relations: TCU linebacker Tanner Brock appears at No. 95 in the Yahoo! Sports/Rivals.com countdown of the top 100 players in college football.
Brock received All-America honors last season and was a first-team All-Mountain West Conference selection after topping TCU with 106 tackles, 26 more than the next-closest Horned Frog (Colin Jones, 80). Brock was just the second TCU player (Daryl Washington, 109, 2009) to reach 100 stops in a season since 2004.
A junior from Copperas Cove, Texas, Brock was the MWC Defensive Player of the Week after recording a career-high 12 tackles and an interception with a 57-yard return in TCU's 47-7 win at Utah. He added nine stops in the 21-19 Rose Bowl victory over Wisconsin.
Brock led TCU in tackles in seven games while reaching double figures in stops in four of the eight MWC contests.

If you didn’t read TCU Athletic Director Chris Del Conte’s chat from Monday afternoon, you should go and check it out. Here are a couple of highlights I thought I would pass along.
First is this piece of information on an area to honor former TCU greats.
Mike (Irving): Is there a plan of some way to honor past TCU greats with statues or a ring of honor type thing when the stadium renovations are complete?
Chris Del Conte: Great question. We've engaged Nike and HKS to help identify spaces in and around the stadium to honor our TCU greats.
I think this is an outstanding idea. I’ve thought TCU has needed statues or a ring of honor in the stadium or something to commemorate former Frog greats like Sammy Baugh, Davey O’Brien, L.T., etc… Kind of confused as to why Nike would be involved with that, but maybe this second bit of information explains it a little more…
Kyle (Seattle): Can you describe in any more detail Nike's branding involvement around campus?
Chris Del Conte: We've engaged Nike to do an overall branding of our product. We expect to have it unveiled in time for the 2012 season.
I also cannot wait to see how this turns out. I’ve said it before, but having a good relationship with Nike is nothing but a positive for TCU.

Additionally, Athlon ranks TCU's duo of Carder and Tanner Brock as the sixth-best linebacker unit in the nation with the Horned Frogs holding the No. 15 position in the preseason poll.
Joining Carder as first-team preseason All-MWC picks are wide receiver Josh Boyce, offensive guard Kyle Dooley and defensive end Stansly Maponga. Representing TCU on the second team are Brock, safety Tekerrein Cuba, placekicker Ross Evans, cornerback Greg McCoy, tailback Ed Wesley and defensive tackle D.J. Yendrey.
