This is almost the perfect sports weekend for the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, but there are a couple of key things missing to make it totally complete.
R.J. and Wally talked about this some on GameNight this week. They said that the Cowboys should play at home the same weekend as Texas/OU because it would add another attraction to what people could do when they came to town. I think it is kind of a cool idea, but already there are LOTS of sports to take in around here this weekend.
- 7:30 PM- Stars vs. Bruins @ the AAC
Saturday:
- 11:00 AM: Texas/OU
- 3:00 PM TCU vs. Colorado State @ Amon G. Carter Stadium
- 7:00 PM: SMU vs. Navy @ Gerald J. Ford Stadium
- 7:30 PM: Mavericks vs. Cavs @ the AAC

Remember I told you the other day about Liverpool supporters passing out fliers that said “give the owners the red card” referring to American owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett, well now it is gone even further. (I’m not sure how new this is) They have a website…Yanksout.com. It is dedicated to “get the liars out of their club.”
Co-owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks secured £350 million in refinancing on their original £200 million-plus takeover loan from Feb. 2007.
A spokesman for Hicks said, that despite the original statement that only £105 million would be charged to the club, Liverpool will be hit with the remaining £245 million, which is now on the books of Kop Football Ltd., the vehicle Hicks and Gillett used to take over the club.
That new loan will cost Liverpool about £30 million in annual interest payments.
