Lady Gaga has confessed that she is obsessed with cooking shows and that she had acquired her cooking skills by just by watching those shows.
"When I get time off, I like to watch cooking shows, I'm really obsessed with them. I'm a really good cook now, just from watching those shows. My specialty is Italian," Contactmusic quoted the singer telling the 'Heat' magazine:
And despite her busy lifestyle, the 'Judas' singer also revealed that she loves to catch up with her childhood friends over good food and wine.
"I went to an all-girls' school, so the few of my friends that I've kept since high school, we'll all just get together and cook and drink six or seven bottles of red wine and just talk about life and chill out," Gaga added.

If you haven't gone red yet, you're clearly missing out on Hollywood's hottest—and reddest—trend. Lady Gaga is the latest in a slew of celebrities to go to the red side. Although, unlike the others, this one was semi-permanent, fleeting even.

For the latest cover of Rolling Stone, the superstar dyed her locks a pale crimson and brought back her famous hair bow. Of course, she's scantily clad in a lace bra, but compared to her past few covers, it's downright normal!

We're digging the look and wouldn't mind it sticking around for a while. Hands up if you feel the same!

Lady Gaga and Beyonce's 10-minute "Telephone" music video made huge headlines back in 2010, but Gaga can't even bring herself to watch it anymore. That was SO last year.

She said: "I can't even watch the 'Telephone' video, I hate it so
much. Beyonce and I are great together. But there are so many f***ing idea in that video and all I see in that video is my brain throbbing with ideas and I wish I had edited it myself a little bit more."

Gaga's now loving the "Alejandro" video, even though she knows it's not a fan favorite. She told Britain's Time Out magazine: "It's funny because I know a lot of kids didn't like the 'Alejandro' video, but that was my favorite of all my videos. 'Alejandro' isn't a busy video. But maybe that's my own monster. People love the chaos in my brain, but I'm terrified of it."

Leave it to Lady Gaga to hit No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 without really trying.

A few weeks ago, Gaga released the anthemic number "The Edge of Glory" as a promotional single to pump fans up over the release of Born This Way, her second full-length studio album. But the track proved so popular the powers that be released it as the third official single from the album—and it subsequently debuted in the top 3. Because Gaga's got it like that.

So what is it about this track that people love so much?

Well, "Edge of Glory" epitomizes the Springsteen-esque power balladry that pops up all overBorn This Way, with a familiar belt-it-out chorus that'll find favor with anyone who loved listening to the radio late '80s. It even features a saxophone solo by Clarence Clemons of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band.

It's also one of Gaga's personal favorites on the album. In an interview with Google, she explained, "[My] grandpa died about five months ago, and my dad and I were going to say goodbye to him at the hospital, and I got out a big thing of agave tequila and my dad sat next to me at the piano and we started doing shots back and forth, and I wrote 'Edge of Glory' on the piano and my dad and I cried. The song's about your last moment on Earth, the moment of truth, the edge of glory is that moment right before you leave earth."

You would think Andy Samberg and Justin Timberlake would be over their skiddishness by now. After working together on the hugely popular "D--- in a Box" and nabbing Susan Sarandon and Patricia Clarkson to guest star in the follow-up, "Motherlovers," the two were still shy about asking Lady Gaga to appear in their latest video for "3-Way."

The Digital Short was a highlight on Saturday Night Live over the weekend, but Gaga revealed to Detroit radio show Mojo in the Morning that Andy and J.T. were shy in asking her to do the skit.

"Justin was like, 'Umm so umm, we have a skit idea and umm, well, I’m not really good at this I’ll have Andy tell you.' Then Andy came and was like, 'Well, umm bluh blah we have this skit idea.'

"Then they both came in finally and they told me the story and I’m like, ‘Guys I get it.’ They’re like, 'We really like each other.'"

Gaga, who revealed in the interview that she has indeed participated in a few three-ways in the past, said it was an endearing experience. "I just said OK finally. I finally got it out of them," she said. "It was so cute."

In the months of promotion leading up to the release of Lady Gaga's second full-length album, the pop superstar repeatedly insisted that Born This Way would be nothing short of epic: “The album is my absolute greatest work I’ve ever done and I’m so excited about it,” she told RWD Magazine.

Gaga was confident that the album—relentlessly dominated with messages of self-acceptance—would change the world. The critics seem to think otherwise, however, with several music editors noting that Gaga may have sacrificed musical innovation for the sake of her message.

James Reed of the Boston Globe called it "the most deflated moment in pop music this year," noting, "the songwriting feels thin, especially when buried under the layers of bombast." Randall Roberts of the LA Times echoed those sentiments, writing, "If Gaga had only spent as much time on pushing musical boundaries as she has social ones, "Born This Way" would have been a lot more successful.

Still, the album has garnered plenty of positive responses, most notably from
Rolling Stone's Rob Sheffield (who called it "disarmingly great") and BBC Music's Ian Wade (he gushingly referred to it as "high-concept pop brilliance"). And thanks to the collective power of Gaga's beloved Little Monsters, Born This Way will dominate the Billboard 200 for many months to come, despite the fact that none of its singles have failed to take hold in the way of "Just Dance" or "Poker Face."

Ask Lady Gaga about the prosthetics on her face and shoulders and she'll tell you they're not prosthetics, they're bones. At least that's what she did to a Harper's Bazaarjournalist, insisting, "They've always been inside of me, but I have been waiting for the right time to reveal to the universe who I truly am. They come out when I'm inspired."

Now Gaga has admitted in an interview with NME that she actually considered making her facial protrusions permanent: "I did look into having them done permanently but decided against it. Mostly because of my boyfriend, if you want the truth."

Remember, though, that Gaga does not endorse plastic surgery. In her Harper's interview she explained her views on body modification, arguing, "I think that promoting insecurity in the form of plastic surgery is infinitely more harmful than an artistic expression related to body modification."

Interesting! So: Gaga is cool with cosmetic surgery, so long as it's about art. It's hard not to wonder what her thoughts are on Heidi Montag, who might actually be considered a sculpture at this point.

Like Madonna before her, Lada Gaga is really, really good at pissing people off. Her latest angry opponent: the Catholic Church.

The issue at hand: Gaga's newest music video -- which hasn't even been released yet -- apparently makes a jab or two toward coveted religious figures like Mary Magdalene. The Catholic Church is upset, but so are Latino Groups (that are Catholic).

Jorge Serrano, of the civil rights group Take Back Aztlá, had this to say about the video: "She falls in love with a Black Jesus," and "is just exploiting the Catholic religion, which many Latinos follow."

We've seen our fair share of Black God's over the years -- Morgan Freeman in Bruce All-Mighty springs to mind -- but apparently a Black Jesus is too much.

Is Gaga more controversial than Madonna? Did she cross the line this time?

Looks like Lady Gaga has one more high-profile fan in Dolly Parton. The country music legend revealed at the GLAAD Awards on Sunday that she loved the country re-mix of Gaga's "Born This Way" and would be keen to work with her if the opportunity presents itself.

"I love her," she told E!. "Maybe we should do something together—GooGoo and Gaga! You know those GooGoo candy bars in Nashville? I could be Lady GooGoo."

No word from the Gaga camp yet, but this would be a pretty epic mash-up. Maybe the pre-eminent pop star of our time can call up Dolly when she realizes this summer that she's going to need something big to top that "Telephone" video -- and there's nothing bigger than Dolly Parton's... hair.

Parton also says she identifies with Gaga's message of individuality.

"I really do think that I stand for being proud of who you are and not worrying a lick about what other people think, really," she added. "I feel fortunate that I've never had to be anything other than myself."

Lady Gaga is sporting some extra bones in her forehead, cheekbones and shoulders these days, but that doesn't mean she's buying into cosmetic surgery anytime soon. The pop singer may bleach her hair until it falls out, but she flatly rejects plastic surgery.

"I have never had plastic surgery, and there are many pop singers who have," Gaga explained in a recent interview withHarper's Bazaar. "I think that promoting insecurity in the form of plastic surgery is infinitely more harmful than an artistic expression related to body modification."

"And how many models and actresses do you see on magazine covers who have brand new faces and have had plastic surgery, while I myself have never had any surgery? I am an artist, and I have the ability and the free will to choose the way the world will envision me."

Lady Gaga is pretty averse to Hollywood culture in general: "I put my toe in that water, and it was a Kegel-exercise vaginal reaction where I clenched and had to retract immediately."

New Delhi, April 11 – International pop star Lady Gaga’s hit single ‘Born This Way’ has got a desi twist! Bollywood composers Salim-Suleiman have added a sitar intro and dhol beats to her vocals for the special remix.
The latest version of the song has been produced by media company Desi Hits.
Gaga will also release an urban-desi version of the song for Britain’s South Asian market. Created and produced by Culture Shock, this version of ‘Born this way’ fuses bhangra with elements of dubstep.
‘Gaga has truly fallen in love with India, so we’re helping her pursue this audience to authentically connect with both the huge diaspora and South Asia itself. The debut of these remixed tracks is step one,’ Anjula Acharia-Bath CEO of Desi Hits, said in a press statement.
‘We collaborated with Indian music producers from across the globe to show our respect and appreciation for our desi fans and music community. We’re looking forward to more desi collaborations in the near future,’ Troy Carter, CEO-Atom Factory, Lady Gaga’s management company, said in a press statement.

Do television fans love Lady Gaga as much as music fans? Gaga's upcoming Glee tribute is so big that the show is being extended a full half hour (sorry Raising Hope), and now Modern Family is getting in on the Gaga love.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who plays Mitchell on the hit ABC show, revealed that an upcoming episode will center around a Lady Gaga concert.

"Mitchell, my character, wants to go to the Lady Gaga concert, and Cameron is supposed to go with me but he's sick in bed and he's expecting me to stay home and take care of him," he toldRegis Philbin and Kelly Ripa. "And so I kind of, maybe, drug him a little bit so I can sneak out and go to the concert."

It turns out that Modern Family's admiration of the pop star is mutual. Ferguson said the cast found out Gaga is a big fan of the show when she approached producers about appearing in an episode.

"Gaga reached out and she wanted to do something with the show but it's like, how do you incorporate Lady Gaga into Modern Family?"

Hopefully the show's writers can think of some appropriately fabulous plot point for the pop star

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga Gets Nostalgic at NY Homecoming

At Lady Gaga's hometown headlining debut at Madison Square Garden Tuesday, the pop phenomenon proved she’s a regular girl at heart.
Although extravagant attires (including a nun-like transparent getup with two pieces of white tape on her chest), fake blood and sparks-shooting bras were still front and center, Gaga also made it a priority to show her gratitude by dedicating songs to her father, her fans, her native New York City and her friends.
“My name is Lady Gaga, and I used to sit right over there, way far in the back and way up top,” she said, pointing toward the top left side of the venue. “I saw Madonna, Cher, the Rolling Stones, Elton John, KISS. I used to stare at this side of the room, and I used to think, ‘I’m gonna be up there,’” she declared, gazing at her own elaborate stage. “So, every second you watch me on this stage, you remember I was sitting where you are,” Gaga said as the sold-out room roared in response.
Later in the show, Gaga dedicated a soaring performance of “Speechless” to her father, who was in the audience — one of the highlights of the evening. “I remember when he would carry my piano down the four flights of our walk-up when I had shows,” Gaga recalled about her father’s support during the early part of her career. “Of all the drunk men in my life, Dad, you’re my favorite,” she half-jokingly said as she dragged her high-heeled boots on the piano.
Gaga’s two-hour long concert was the first of three Monster Ball shows taking place this week in New York — she also played Wednesday and was due to play Friday. During her show, the star, her supporting cast and friend Posh — whom Gaga said once shared an apartment with her in Manhattan’s Lower East Side — enacted a trip around all over her beloved city, from Brooklyn to LES and Central Park by car, train and down a glittery road to make their way to the Monster Ball. “The monster ball will set you free!” she shouted...NEW YORK (BillBoard)
