Selena Gomez Goes Retro in Official Cover Art of 'Bang Bang Bang'

A throwback to the 60's, the official artwork depicts a picture of the "Monte Carlo" movie beauty wearing a rather-retro long-sleeved sweater. She's tilting her head as she gives a sultry look at the camera and kneels on a rug with her hands on her lap.
"Bang Bang Bang" is expected to be released for digital download on June 7 as part of iTunes countdown of the upcoming album, which is due in the U.S. on June 28. Exactly a week later, another new track "Dices" reportedly will follow before her upcoming single "Love You Like a Love Song" is made available for purchase on June 21.
A music video for the forthcoming single was filmed on the beach of Malibu in Los Angeles, CA on May 19. Selena used horses which were painted pink for the video shoot. Soon after the set pictures made their way out, the "Wizards of Waverly Place" star was slammed by Pink who is an avid supporter of PETA. "If there are any animal activists around Malibu- at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Shame," the animal lover tweeted.
Selena and her team were quick to come to their defense. "It was important to the Production Company, Record Label and Ms. Gomez that no animals were harmed and all proper precautions were taken," a rep told the press. "A non toxic, vegetable based powder paint was applied via an airbrush and removed with water. An official from the Humane Society was on set supervising."

The gig took place on Saturday night, May 28 after Tampa Bay Rays' 7-3 loss to Cleveland Indians. After the concert, announcer Rusty Kathy apologized for Avril's foul-mouthed language. "That's not what the Tampa Bay Rays are about," Rusty said to the crowd of more than 24,000.
Rays' spokesperson Rick Vaughn issued an apology as well. He said, "The Rays demand profanity-free performances from all of our concert performers and we are extremely disappointed by the language used in last night's show. It is not consistent with the family friendly atmosphere that Tropicana Field is known for."
Avril herself hasn't commented on the ill-fated concert. The pop/rock singer wrote on Twitter, "I just threw the opening pitch and playing a concert after the game! Fun :)." She tossed out the first pitch of the baseball game before the obscene gig.

It opens with a spoken interlude from comedian Mike Epps. "All these young kids, they ain't got no direction," he drops his remarks. "S**t, these lil' kids is on everything: syrup, painkillers, cigarettes, weed, Hennessey, vodka..." Royce and the Slim Shady follow him up with their own flowing bars.
Beside Mike Epps, the 9-song EP also lines up Bruno Mars as a featured guest in "Lighters", and Slaughterhouse in "Loud Noises". The album is due in the United States on June 14 via Shady/Interscope Records.

Video: Beyonce's Flawless Unplugged Performance at 'Idol' Backstage

The rehearsal video which made its way out a day after the star-studded result show of the singing competition's finale reportedly was filmed by Beyonce's hubby Jay-Z using only a simple camera phone. Along with the footage, a short message was posted to explain that the performance is 100% unplugged.
"Sometimes you need perspective," the message read. "You've been right in front of greatness so often that you need to step back and see it again for the first time. This is the dressing room rehearsal for American Idol. NO MICROPHONE. No effects."

Britney kicked off the filming on May 25. She wrote on Twitter that day, "Just wrapped day 1 of the I Wanna Go video. I-I-I wanna go-o-o to my b-e-e-d to get some sleep tonight." The pop songstress continued the video shoot the following day, posting on the micro-blogging site "Playing SIMON on my iPad on the I Wanna Go set to pass the time."
Despite the upbeat tune of the song, its music video reportedly will have less dancing and focus more on the narrative storyline instead. Rumor has it, she will be saved by a hunky actor when being hounded by a crowd of paparazzi. They will make out in the backseat of a car later on.
Words are, Britney and her team had asked Kellan Lutz to play her love interest, but the "Twilight's Saga" actor politely turned down the offer. Beside approaching Kellan, Britney allegedly has also asked Matthew McConaughey to play the leading man. As of press time, there is no word on who secures the role.

Lady GaGa Wants Hot Guy Like Enrique Iglesias for 'Edge of Glory' Lover

Beside being a good looking guy, the actor also "must be willing to kiss Lady GaGa." In a more specific note, her team refers the ideal guy to Enrique Iglesias, the hot Latin pop singer who recently revealed that he would love to collaborate with the "Born This Way" hitmaker.
In addition to the leading man, GaGa is looking for several male "Couture Doctors" as well. They are going to be decked out in white smocks and black gloves. "Think Dr. 90210," her team described. Top cap it all, a "male or female on-air reporter" and a group of military-type men are wanted as extras as well.
"The Edge of Glory" features GaGa showing off her softer side. She lets down her guard and sings in all her glory in the name of love on the summer jam filler. Taking inspiration from her late grandfather, she said the song is "about your last moment on earth, the moment of truth, the moment before you leave earth."

The Mother Monster delivered the first verse of the song before ditching the headpiece to reveal a warrior-type outfit. Eminem's Bad Meets Evil EP 'Hell: The Sequel' Gets Official Tracklisting

Tracklisting of Eminem's "Hell: The Sequel", the mini album he worked with his Bad Meets Evil partner Royce da 5'9", has been revealed. The EP features 9 songs with Mike Epps lending his vocals on "I'm On Everything", Bruno Mars on "Lighters", and Slaughterhouse on "Loud Noises".
The album is going to come out on June 14 via Shady/Interscope Records. This will be the duo's first duet effort since they dropped a Bad Meets Evil CD titled "Nuttin' to Do" in 1999. This reunion project involves D12's Mr. Porter, Mobb Deep's Havoc, DJ Khalil and Bangladesh on the production.

'Story of Us' Music Video: Taylor Swift Has Awkward Encounter With Her Ex

She never names whom she's talking about in the song, but some suggested it's either Taylor Lautner or John Mayer who were briefly linked to her last year. "I was at an awards show, and there was a guy there, obviously - it all starts there, doesn't it? It was a guy I had been in a relationship with, falling out, then we end up at the same awards show. In method No. 1, the band film a product placement video which becomes a full product banner. In method No. 2, they are "selling sex" by prancing around half naked like the stars of "Jersey Shore". In "SNL" season finale which aired last weekend, Lady GaGa appeared in some sketches with Justin Timberlake who served as a host. In a digital short called "Three-Way", she was sandwiched between the singer/actor and Andy Samberg who sang about a threesome which is "not gay".
In another skit, she competed with Timberlake in a celebrity edition of game show "What's That Name?". Later, she dressed as a wine complete with cork and glasses in a sketch about Liquorville.

The online retailer suffered technical problems because of the high traffic on the website soon after the promotion was announced. "Amazon is experiencing high volume and downloads are delayed," the company offered an apology for the inconvenient. "If customers order today, they will get the full Lady GaGa, Born This Way album for $0.99. Thanks for your patience."
The slow-service issues have frustrated some of the music fans. "Reminds me why I usually use iTunes," a Twitter user by the name of Martin Dittman said in a terse reply to the Amazon statement. In addition, the problems reportedly have caused the CD to have a low three-star rating.
"Born This Way" was released worldwide on May 23 with prize tag $11.99 or $15.99 on iTunes stores. With its massive promotion has already been set in motion, Interscope Records has high expectation for the album and reportedly has shipped a whopping 2 million copies of the album to a variety of retail outlets across the United States. Music experts predict the effort will lead this week's album sale in the country "with first-week sales estimates ranging from 750k to a high of a million."

Lady Gaga's New Album Will Dominate, Despite Shaky Critical Response

In the months of promotion leading up to the release of Lady Gaga's second full-length album, the pop superstar repeatedly insisted that Born This Way would be nothing short of epic: “The album is my absolute greatest work I’ve ever done and I’m so excited about it,” she told RWD Magazine.
Gaga was confident that the album—relentlessly dominated with messages of self-acceptance—would change the world. The critics seem to think otherwise, however, with several music editors noting that Gaga may have sacrificed musical innovation for the sake of her message.
James Reed of the Boston Globe called it "the most deflated moment in pop music this year," noting, "the songwriting feels thin, especially when buried under the layers of bombast." Randall Roberts of the LA Times echoed those sentiments, writing, "If Gaga had only spent as much time on pushing musical boundaries as she has social ones, "Born This Way" would have been a lot more successful.
Still, the album has garnered plenty of positive responses, most notably from Rolling Stone's Rob Sheffield (who called it "disarmingly great") and BBC Music's Ian Wade (he gushingly referred to it as "high-concept pop brilliance"). And thanks to the collective power of Gaga's beloved Little Monsters, Born This Way will dominate the Billboard 200 for many months to come, despite the fact that none of its singles have failed to take hold in the way of "Just Dance" or "Poker Face."
The Bajan songstress was dressed in a white leather bustier with nearly-thigh high boots, and was joined by Britney toward the end of the steamy performance. The Southern Belle, who lends her vocals to the revamped song, wore an equally naughty outfit, a black vinyl bunny gear.
Next after the steamy duet, "The Hangover" actor Ken Jeong took the stage for a musical number dedicated to the Sin City. The host shared the spotlight with Nicki Minaj and Pat Monahan of Train. Ken played piano and sang a Coldplay song "Clocks?", while Minaj was squirming on top the piano.
The other artists scheduled to rock the MGM stage include Cee-Lo Green, Pitbull, Black Eyed Peas, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Taio Cruz, Ne-Yo, Far East Movement and OneRepublic.

"The impact of an album is all determined by the fans," Swift told the audience upon receiving the award. "You've just given me another reason to be completely in love with you." It means that she gets a total of two prizes so far - before the show was kicked off, she has already received Top Country Album.
Next, Justin Bieber is invited to the stage to collect his trophy for Digital Artist of the Year. "I want to thank everybody who helped get me out of my hometown," the Canadian popstar said. He additionally thanked his fans and his mentor Usher.
In addition to the award announced at the live telecast, Bieber has already got multiple prizes which were not televised. The teen idol, who started his career as a YouTube singing sensation, scored Top Social Artist, Top Streaming Artist, Top Pop Album and Top Streaming Song (Video).
Randy Jackson comes on to the stage to announce Top Hot 100 Song which goes to Taio Cruz's hit single "Dynamite". The track, which also won Top Digital Song, was on the U.S. single chart for more than 40 weeks. The singer/songwriter said he's not been honored for being chosen as a recipient of the award.
Tim Allen presents Country Song of the Year, saying "I'm uniquely qualified to announce the Country Song of the Year, as I am from this country." He later announces Lady Antebellum as the winner, thanked to their hit single "Need You Now".
"Wizards of Waverly Place" star Selena Gomez and "Modern Family" actor Rico Rodriguez announce Black Eyed Peas as Top Duo/Group. Taboo, who recently welcomed a baby, thank his wife for the bundle of joy, "Thanks for the great baby."
After the performances by Viral Innovator Award recipient Cee-Lo Green and Country Song of the Year winner Lady Antebellum, Joe Jonas presents Radio Artist of the Year to Rihanna. Snoop Dogg and Far East Movement later introduce Bieber as Top New Artist.
