Creating a sartorial sensation at Lakme Fashion Week was the Park Avenue Autumn/Winter 2008 collection for men and women.
Creators of the best formal wear in the country; the Park Avenue collection was a slick, elegant presentation of garments in fabrics of a very high standard and quality.
Men's wear was presented in three ranges in the colour palette of light blue, grey, earthy shades, deep burgundy, maroon, black and white.
THE CORPORATE LINE - had luxurious wool fabrics for classic 2-button jackets with peak lapels worn with flat front slim trousers.
LEISURE LINE – corduroy and soft velvet along with knits in shades of burgundy and plum created an impact in this range
EVENING LINE –for stylish formal wear it was black and white premium wool, satin based stripes and jacquards for sharply cut suits.
Women's wear was in four themes which ranged from smart corporate wear to elegant evening wear with a marked 80s influence.
CELESTIAL NIGHTS – using soft fabrics in hues of aqua blue and turquoise the look was enhanced with silver.
SUNKISSED TERRAIN –working on the eco-friendly theme, the colours were brown and olive green along with natural textures and a dash of gold
PASSION DARKS –to vibrant tones of red, pink, purple, violet, black and lavender for the stylish women's wear was added bronze to complete the look.
BLACK & WHITE –here was evening wear of the very ultra kind with polka dots and blacks adding to the formal look.
