I don’t really post about recruiting news on here, because frankly, high school sports don’t interest me one bit, but the Frogs picked up two big commitments yesterday so I thought I would pass along the news.
Receiver Brandon Carter, the four star recruit from Euless Trinity switched his commitment from Oklahoma to TCU.
Brandon Carter is staying home. The Euless Trinity star receiver told ESPNDallas.com on Tuesday night he is switching his verbal commitment from Oklahoma to TCU.
Carter, who had committed to Oklahoma last June, was decked out in TCU gear while watching the Trinity girls basketball team in action.
The senior said he has notified Oklahoma about his decision and plans to call TCU coach Gary Patterson with the news Wednesday.
TCU also received a verbal commitment from offensive tackle Carter Wall. (Pretty good last name for a lineman.) Wall was previously committed to SMU.
The Frogs now have commitments from three of the Dallas area's top 10 recruits.
