Worth Star-Telegram on June 8th saying that the school is 80 percent complete toward reaching the required $105 million to begin the remaking of the venue. Well, it looks like the money has been raised and we can expect an announcement sometime shortly.

One of the topics on everyone's mind, the stadium renovations, was addressed tonight by both Associated AD Davis Babb and Gary Patterson.
According to Babb, the money has been raised and an official announcement will be coming shortly once the board of trustees has had a chance to meet and approve the project for construction starting in November. He said that is merely a formality, as the project is 100% ahead of time (most projects like this are built using borrowed money).
