News from Oklahoma

We're on our way back from Newkirk, Oklahoma, where 106 pit bulls were found dead and dying of starvation and exposure to the harsh OK winter. Kay County

We have many people to thank for allowing us to help...But first, we need to get home, unpack our very smelly clothes, hug our own dogs and have a good cry.

For now, we can tell you that many pit bulls were saved from this horrible situation and the rest that couldn't be saved were treated with compassion and kindness before they left.

And not to worry, the old girl in this photo is safe and sound and on her way to CA tonite.
