It's official, but not yet confirmed.... Jennifer Lopez has signed on to be a judge on American Idol.
Rumor is that J.Lo was seeking a $15 million deal that also included a movie deal, but settled for a mere $12 million deal.
J.Lo went into negotiations with Fox in June and signed the $12 million deal in July, but reportedly asked Idol to hold the announcement until mid-September so that it will coincide with Island Def Jam releasing her first single.
