What a surprise. Texas Tech continues to duck and dodge TCU at all costs. The Red Raiders dropped the Frogs from their schedule last season, and apparently now, they are dropping TCU from their schedule for 2011 as well.
For a second consecutive season, Texas Tech and TCU won't play its scheduled football game, sources at both schools confirmed Wednesday.
The Red Raiders were to visit the Rose Bowl champion Horned Frogs on Sept. 10 in Fort Worth. Texas Tech, however, needed to drop one nonconference game in order to fit in a ninth Big 12 game and opted to keep its games vs. New Mexico and Nevada and drop TCU.
Hmmm…I wonder why Texas Tech wanted to keep New Mexico and Nevada instead of TCU? The only explanation is because they are scared. There really is no logical explanation besides that. Last season they had ESPN as their excuse, this year, not so much. Don’t forget, last season instead of playing TCU, they played New Mexico, SMU, Weber State, and Houston. Wow, there is a killer out of conference schedule. You know those BCS teams have it so hard week in and week out….
This is pathetic.
