Although seeing Andy Dalton’s name pop up in the first round of a lot of NFL mock drafts isn’t surprising, this latest mock draft from Sports Illustrated’s Peter King did surprise me. King has Dalton going to Miami with the 15th pick. That is the highest I have seen anyone predict Dalton to be drafted.
14. Rams: Corey Liuget, DT, Illinois
15. Dolphins: Andy Dalton, QB, TCU
16. Jaguars: Ryan Kerrigan, DE, Purdue
Although most mock drafts are pure speculation, Peter King is well connected within the NFL and I tend to put a little more stock into what he has to say. All I know at this point is that Andy Dalton’s name continues to be a hot topic in NFL Draft discussions.
