Andy Dalton’s turn on Jon Gruden’s QB Camp aired last night and Dalton represented the Frogs well. Here is a quick review of what went down. I am sure ESPN will re-air it at some point before the draft if you missed it.

- First, the special was just great publicity for Andy and TCU. Gruden mentioned where the program had come from and seemed impressed with what the Frogs have been able to do.

- It seemed on a couple of plays that Gruden was actually surprised by some of TCU’s plays and had never seen plays like that before. Especially on the quick option play where the center leads Dalton with the snap.

- I don’t know if Gruden has lightened up this year or if he really liked Dalton. We will have to see how the other sessions go. I remember in the past Gruden was rough on Sam Bradford and a few others. Gruden wasn’t very critical of Andy in the parts they showed on TV.

Overall it was interesting and I would recommend it to other Frog fans. Especially if you are in to X’s and O’s. They go over some of the reads and things like that the TCU offense goes through on the field.
