I want her hair. REALLY BAD. I also enjoyed watching the different outfits she wore on Idol.

Although on the show 8 simple rules, Kaleys style was very basic. I enjoy watching that show because of her. She is very gorgeous. She has the perfect body and her personality is just so bright and bubbly.

Which of course brings me to the topic of Amy Davidsons hair. So pretty.

Hair scarves and big sunglasses put together with some low cut skinny jeans and a nice shirt. Remind me to try that one of these days.

I love Stevie Nicks. Her style. Her look. I guess I'm referring to her earlier days. She's beautiful.

I originally planned on putting a picture of just aviator sunglasses until I found this picture and I love this beach look. I love aviators. I need to buy a pair. So I can wear them everywhere.

If I had a body like this, I would so wear the whole leggings and tunic look.

As much as I love this shirt, I'm posting this mainly because of the model. She's gorgeous. Her legs and tan are very perfect looking.

I'm loving off the shoulder tops. So fashionable and so lovely.

Or fashion?
Scratch that. Although I LOVE clothes. I can't make them for anything. I think the reason I love the whole "fashion major" idea is, well, because it's fashionable. I just want to be fashionable. But I can do that without majoring in it.

Journalism or theater. . .
that is the question.
I've done loads of thinking and researching on jobs that I might have a talent for. That I MIGHT be able to do that is also well paying and realistic. Although I found nothing. None of it interested me. I've always been one to DREAM big but why not DO big? After the "end of the world" talk on Saturday it made me realize life is too short to do something you DON'T want to do. So why not go after something you DO want. As unrealistic becoming an actress or a journalist may seem, I can go for it. You know why? Because it's what I want. If you want something so much then if you try hard enough you just may get it. Journalism, Theater, hey but the two together and I could be a news broadcaster!

Theater

Acting has always been a dream of mine. I've always wanted to see my name in lights and be noticed by many not for fame but so I can inspire people as well. I want to be a new person in order to do a role. I love the idea of playing a whole other personality. Steps to get there? Well if you want something enough, you'll give anything to have it. I'm going to do that. Although 18 seems to be a little late to start, If I can give everything I have now I can make up for the lost time. Life is a play, the world is a stage. Time to live every day like I'm a star and then maybe just MAYBE one day I'll become a star.

Journalism

Oh how much I love the English language! I would love to major in English but having a focus such as journalism is a lot better in the long run. Besides that's what I want to do. Write. Well, Editing would be lovely as well. This started when I watched one of my favorite movies 13 going on 30. I love that movie. Older Jenna ended up working for a top magazine and ever sense I watched that (when I was 12) that scene has always been a dream of mine. (or photography for a magazine would be nice. . hm. . there's an idea). I've been told I'm an excellent writer when I put my mind to it. I've written poems and songs as early as I can remember. Writing is just a big deal. I love being able to cover a topic. Take a situation and summarize it on to a piece of paper. Without leaving out detail. I'll plan on making blogs on how to become a journalist and actress to just show some of the things I plan on doing to reach my goals.

So as I said in my last post I'm into hippie styles and the 60s/70s times. I also said that I'm going to change my style to a hippie-boho style. I did some research on hippie styles and well, I found nothing. But I do know some of the basics that I'd like to share.

Bell Bottoms

Your reaction? "umm no". Okay so the picture puts a lot of emphasis on the bell bottoms. I never in my life would have IMAGINED wearing a pair of bell bottoms more so liking them. I don't own a pair yet. I don't even know if they sell them anywhere since they're an old trend. take a moment and imagine yourself wearing a pair of bell bottoms, with a nice fitted or flowing shirt! When I imagine me wearing that I think "wow, so retro but SO cute" because it's different and don't we all want to be different? Like all fashion trends, we end up adapting to them and making them work, let's make bell bottoms work AGAIN (:

Headbands

These can be made out of ribbon, yarn, hair extensions, bandanas, headbands. I esp love the headbands like the first picture and then clipping a nice big flower on the side. So pretty and so elegant. Heres a video I found on youtube earlier on how to make the hippie headband, with your own hair! ZERO COST. Woo.

Tie Dye

I love the literal meaning of the word tie dye. Because when you're making a shirt, you're actually tying shirts to be dyed. Tie dye dates back to ancient times which was developed in China during T'ang dynasty (618-906 A.D). I swear, everything I mean EVERYTHING ends up being made in China. Tie dye seems was popular during the 60s/70s and still popular today. I see it a lot today. Tie dye bags, shirts, banadas. There's a lot of ways you can wear tie dye besides in t shirt form!

Peace Signs
I've always loved peace signs. I have a lot of peace sign jewelry and bags. Hippies believe in peace and love. Wear a symbol of peace, spread the love. Well, don't wear a peace sign if you're going to start a war. Wear it if you truly believe in peace.

Aww. . . Isn't he the cutest.
Fringed vests, go go boots, leather fringed sandals, bandanas, hip huggers, ripped jeans, mini and micro skirts, chain belts, lots of bracelets, patched pants, floral leggings, flowing tops and lets not forgot the vintage sunglasses.

You know Lady Gaga is one of those artists taking it to the next level, keeping it fresh and live for what she does.
