I had the opportunity to speak with Ross Turnbull, goal keeper for Chelsea FC over the phone today after the team’s practice in Baltimore. It is only around a three minute interview, but Ross had some good things to say. Plus, his accent is great.
On 2 July 2009, Turnbull joined Chelsea on a free transfer, signing a four-year contract. On the 4 July 2009 Turnbull announced he would not sit by as a permanent second place to regular starting team Goalkeeper Petr Cech and he would fight for his own first team place.
