From TCU Media Relations: The TCU football team will report to campus Wednesday with its first practice set for Thursday at 4 p.m.
Wednesday's itinerary begins with an NCAA compliance meeting followed by head coach Gary Patterson and selected players taking part in a media luncheon. The rest of the day's schedule includes physicals, equipment disbursement and team meetings.
In addition to Thursday's opening session, TCU will also practice at 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
On four occasions during its preseason camp, TCU will practice twice on the same day.
Classes begin at TCU on Monday, Aug. 23. The Horned Frogs open the 2010 campaign Sept. 4 versus Oregon State at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
TCU returns 16 of 22 starters from last year's 12-1 squad that made its first BCS appearance and finished with its third top-10 ranking in the last five seasons.
The Horned Frogs' 53-11(.828) record since 2005 ranks as the sixth-best mark in the nation. TCU has won at least 10 games six times in the last eight seasons, including five campaigns with at least 11 victories.
