The Horned Frogs home opener is Saturday evening against Tennessee Tech, and it should be an easy one, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Ole Miss did just lose to Jacksonville Junior College or whatever it was. If you can find a betting line for this game, its somewhere between 48 and 55 points, Arkansas beat this team 44-3 last week. I’m not really worried about, but there are some things I want to see from the team this week.

- I want to see a clean game from Andy Dalton with no turnovers. He was excellent against Oregon State except for the two interceptions, so I want to see the passing game cleaned up before Baylor comes to town.

- The way TCU ran the ball against Oregon State was great. I loved that there was an emphasis on the running game, and I want to see that again. There is no way Tennessee Tech can handle the Frogs offensive line, so lanes should be open all night long.

- I want to see a blowout win while shutting Tennessee Tech out. Arkansas beat them 44-3, so the Frogs should put up more points, and not allow them to score at all. I don’t think that’s unreasonable either.

- The second team should get a lot of action in the 3rd and 4th quarters. I am interested to see how Casey Pachall performs. I also want to see Aundre Dean get a few carries.

- The defense needs to pressure the quarterback, and I would like the coverage in the secondary to tighten up a little bit. TCU had a decent game on defense against Oregon State, but there was also a couple times that WR’s were running wide open for the Beavers. Those are the things that need to be corrected.

I look forward to seeing all the Section V representers.
