Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

{ONE}
The Secret Life of an American Teenager

Yes, I watch and enjoy this show. However, I didn't watch it tonight. I rented movies at the library and have been watching them. The most I can rent is three at a time. I'm almost done with all three so I guess I'll be back at the library tomorrow for more, ugh! Back to my point, this show comes on every Monday. At 7 the repeat from the previous week comes on and at 8 the new episode comes on. I decided I'm just going to watch this every other Monday so I get two new episodes instead of one.

{TWO}
Sweet Home Alabama

One out of the three movies I rented and as I type I'm watching this. This is the first time I've seen this and so far I really like it. Haven't quite got to this part ^^^ yet but I have a feeling I'm going to like it even more. I love Alabama accents, I really want to go there one day. It's funny, Florida's the most southern state but it's not considered the south. It's like another country. We don't have cute accents, we just talk like we're from the valley. [like omg] to tell you the truth I'm tired of that. Right now Alabama and Michigan are sounding like lovely places to live. Move with me? [I'm gonna blog about this one day]

As of right now, this is my favorite show, The Gilmore Girls :)
I have every season of DVDs and at the beginning of February I started to watch them all from season 1. I'm on season 6 now!
Could it be the warm feeling I get when I see these people walking around Stars Hollow, I have always wanted to live in a town like that.
Seasonal festivals, everybody knows everybody, and nice little hang outs such as Lukes!
Or possibly it could be the relationships, the guys are always such hunks. From Christopher to Luke and Dean to Logan.
Dean, Jess and Luke are my favorites though!
I also love Rory, she is my role model.
She has so much determination with school and learning. She always has a book in her hand and like Lorelai, knows almost everything about pop culture and has seen almost every movie and on top of all that, their funny!
The things these girls say are just so genius!
I could watch these DVDs over and over again, I lovelovelove them!

I thought these TV number from last night were interesting. It just goes to show that MLB does not draw the interest that it used to back in the day. It is no longer America's Pastime.

CNBC.com

Last night’s Monday Night Football game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tennessee Titans outrated Game 3 of the American League Championship Series between the New York Yankees and the Texas Rangers (7.2 to 6.5).

The Rangers/Yankees game wasn’t even going up against a good NFL game. The Titans and Jaguars are terrible and the game was never close. Plus, you would think a playoff game would out draw a regular season game. I don’t know how much one being on ESPN and one being on TBS played a factor.

Happy Monday Followers!

I was thinking how happy I am now that all my shows have started or do this week!

Here is the one's I watch:

1. Vampire Diaries. On Thursday nights. LOVE THIS SHOW. Stefan and Damen are total hotties, and who doesn't love vampires?

2. One Tree Hill. On Tuesday nights. I've watched this since the day it started 8 seasons ago! I seriously am in love with everything about this show.

3. Dexter! The boy and I recently started watching this a few months back and it's amazing. If you love anything about mystery or serial killers. I recommend it! Starts back up soon! Had a fantastic season finale, so I am beyond excited to see what happens!

4. Gossip Girl. On Monday nights. Is there really anything to say but: Chuck Bass? He has my full heart. +

5. House. Monday nights. Starts tomorrow night! House is just plain amazing. End of story!

What do you watch?!

TCU fans can rejoice, as we know Craig James will be nowhere near the TV booth this Saturday for the TCU vs. Oregon State game on ESPN HD at 6:45 PM. Those honors go to Brad Nessler on the play-by-play, Todd Blackledge doing color commentary, and Holly Rowe will be roaming the sidelines.

Obviously as always, you can listen to Brian Estridge and John Denton on the TCU ISP if that is what you prefer.

The United States vs. Ghana match on Saturday afternoon set World Cup viewing records here in the United States. Unfortunately, there won’t be another once since the Stars and Stripes were eliminated by Ghana 2-1.

WashingtonPost.com

JOHANNESBURG -- The United States' 2-1 loss to Ghana in extra time, which eliminated the Americans from the tournament in South Africa, was the most-watched men's World Cup game ever in this country.

The Nielsen Co. said Saturday afternoon's game was seen by an estimated 14.9 million viewers on ABC. An additional 4.5 million people watched on the Spanish-language Univision.
