The ratings for Saturday nights TCU-Oregon State game are in, and they look pretty good.

ESPN drew a 2.7 overnight for Miami (OH)/Florida on Saturday afternoon, the network's highest college football overnight of the day. The game edged TCU/Oregon State on Saturday night, which drew a 2.6 overnight. Elsewhere on Saturday, Texas/Rice drew a 1.8 overnight.

Saturday's prime-time game from Cowboys Stadium, a 30-21 TCU win over Oregon State, averaged 291,811 D-FW viewers in wiping out all competing programming.
SMU's gutty 35-27 Sunday afternoon loss to Texas Tech in sweltering Lubbock drew 142,512 viewers to likewise outpoint all competing programming.

Saturday's Oregon State/TCU game drew a 2.3 U.S. rating and 3.660 million viewers on ESPN, down 18% in ratings and 20% in viewership from BYU/Oklahoma last year (2.8, 4.562 mil), but up 44% and 42%, respectively, from Illinois/Missouri in a later timeslot in 2007 (1.6, 2.585 mil).
