"Be the kinda woman, that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, the devil says, "Oh crap--she's up!"
What a cute and witty comment... but how it holds so much truth...
The bible tells us;
Stand, therefore, with truth like a belt around your waist,
righteousness like armor on your chest,
and your feet sandaled with readiness for the gospel of peace.
In every situation take the shield of faith,
and with it you will be able to extinguish the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit,
which is God's word.
Ephesians 6:14-17
Those passages scream stand up to the Devil. Shield him out of our lives, and do not the things that will cause holes where the devil will swim threw.
I aspire to be that. To scare the Devil each morning, when my feet touch the floor. That I am righteous enough for him to coward down.
