I don’t have a complete topic to write about right now, so we are just going to combine all of it into one, for Angry Trey’s quick hits.
- Anyone else annoyed that J.R. Smith celebrates every shot he makes by celebrating like he just won game seven of the NBA Finals?
- As much of a Mavs homer as I am, I didn’t see anything wrong with the officiating in game one.
- J-Ho has said that both of his ankles are bad and it is like “walking on egg shells” and him driving to the basket is going to be “limited.” Even though those things are the truth, should he be announcing that to everyone?
- I expect the Mavs to keep game 2 close and even possibly win it.
- Congrats to LeBron for winning MVP, everyone knew it was coming. I still think you can make an argument for Dwyane Wade.
- Have the Rockets just opened the door for the entire Western Conference? This is exactly why you want your team to make the playoffs. Stay tuned…
- Second leg on the UEFA Champions League semifinals get underway today. Mavs playoff basketball and Arsenal/Man U on the same day! Can you ask for any more?? Manchester United took the first game 1-0 so Arsenal has to overcome that deficit if they hope to win. That game will be on ESPN 2 at 1:30 this afternoon. Chelsea and Barcelona play tomorrow at 1:30 on ESPN 2 also. Their first game ended in a 0-0 draw.
