I had the chance to attend Chelsea’s training session at Cowboys Stadium on Saturday night, and it was awesome! I got to watch the whole thing from the field and had a really good time. There was a pretty good amount of fans in attendance, and the players put on an entertaining practice. Here is a rundown of events. Plus…video, pictures, and audio.

- There was a press conference with Manager Carlos Ancelotti and midfielder Michael Essien before practice. Then the team went through their routine. (Got my picture taken with Michael Essien)

- The Cowboys might have to do something about their big screen. Frank Lampard and John Terry were kicking soccer balls at it and eventually hit it. (Right after it happened they made an announcement over the p.a. to stop) I know they were intentionally aiming for it, and a soccer ball is different from a football, but that thing could get hit by a punt possibly.

- The players hung around afterward and signed autographs for some of the fans.

- Dallas native and Portland Trailblazer LaMarcus Aldridge showed up near the end to get some tips from Didier Drogba and take a few penalty kicks against Petr Cech.

- Also, shout out to good friend, Marc Stein of ESPN.com who was in attendance tonight.

- Here is a compilation of the press conference and training session in a three minute video I put together.

Here are all the rest of the pictures…(click on them to see larger versions)
