I had the opportunity to speak with Ross Turnbull, goal keeper for Chelsea FC over the phone today after the team’s practice in Baltimore. It is only around a three minute interview, but Ross had some good things to say. Plus, his accent is great.

Chelsea is in town for the World Football Challenge and has a match tomorrow against AC Milan and another on Sunday against Club America at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. Click the link below to listen to the interview.

Ross Turnbull Interview

From Ross’ Wikipedia page:

On 2 July 2009, Turnbull joined Chelsea on a free transfer, signing a four-year contract. On the 4 July 2009 Turnbull announced he would not sit by as a permanent second place to regular starting team Goalkeeper Petr Cech and he would fight for his own first team place.
