TCU is 10-0 for the second straight season as they dismantled Utah 47-7 in Salt Lake City ending the Utes 21 game home winning streak. The Frogs have won 24 of their last 25 games and made a huge statement to the country that they are the most complete team in college football. TCU just took one giant step towards the Mountain West Conference Championship, a BCS bowl game, and a possible shot at the National Championship. Let’s break this one down.

- Andy Dalton was amazing. Dalton completed 21-of-26 passes for a career-high 355 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. In 2008, Andy struggled in Utah throwing 2 interceptions, but he exercised those demons and was basically flawless on Saturday.

- Josh Boyce, Josh Boyce, Josh Boyce. You might as well get used to saying it because if he is performing like this as a redshirt freshman, he is going to be ridiculous as a senior. Boyce had 3 receptions for 126 yards and 2 touchdowns. That was Boyce’s second 100-yard receiving game of the season, and his 93-yard touchdown reception from Andy Dalton is the third-longest play in TCU history.

- It is crazy to think about, but you might be watching the greatest TCU defense of ALL-TIME! The Frogs limited Utah to only 199 yards of total offense and remain the only team in the nation to not allow an opponent to reach 200 yards in the air in a game this season. This defensive unit is only allowing 8.5 points per game this season. Look up dominant defense in the dictionary and you will see a picture of TCU. They are that legit.

- TCU held their opponent to single digits in scoring for the seventh time in 10 games this season.

- The Frogs improved to 70-2 under head coach Gary Patterson when allowing 17 points or less.

I would like to borrow a line from the Texas Rangers and just let everyone know that this boat is indeed for real. TCU can play with anyone in the country and if you don’t think so then you haven’t been watching the games. The Frogs have one game left at the current Amon G. Carter Stadium and we have to do it up big for this departing senior class. The San Diego State Aztecs come to town on Saturday and I expect a packed house. It sure is a great time to be a TCU fan.

GO FROGS!!!
