This week’s Random Mav of the Week had a short stint here in Dallas from 1994-1997. He was a first round draft pick in 1989 to the Indiana Pacers with the seventh overall pick. He was in the league until 2002 and played with the Pacers, Mavs, Lakers, Suns, and Nuggets.

THIS WEEK’S RANDOM MAV OF THE WEEK IS…..

George McCloud

George’s best season of his career actually came as Maverick in 95-96 where he appeared in 79 games and averaged 18.9 points per game.

From Wikipedia:

In his NBA career, McCloud played in 766 games and scored a total of 6,925 points. McCloud was a productive three point shooter throughout his career. At NBA All-Star Weekend in 1996, he appeared in the Three-point Shootout but lost in the semifinal round. McCloud has the second-highest total for three-point attempts in an NBA game, with 20. Damon Stoudamire owns the record with 21.

Congrats to George McCloud, this week’s Random Mav of the Week!
