The BCS National Championship is tonight and this game is always bitter sweet. For the most part, the fans normally see an entertaining game, but it also signals the end of the college football season. College Football is by far my favorite sport to watch, and it seems like forever between January and September waiting for the next season. It makes it even harder because of the disappointing loss TCU had against Boise State.
Alabama and Texas go at it tonight in Pasadena and the only thing that could make TCU’s loss to Boise State worse is if the Longhorns with the National Championship. I can’t stand that school, I can’t stand Mack Brown, I can’t stand their bandwagon fans, and I can’t stand how often announcers talk about Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley being roommates.
As for the game tonight, I want to say Bama wins by a good margin, but I am not sure. Alabama has a very solid defense and we all saw what happened in the Big XII Championship when Texas played a good defense. I also like the playmakers on Alabama’s side better. I have been impressed with Mark Ingram and always been a fan of Julio Jones.
As I said in my BCS Preview, Give me Bama over the Longhorns 27-17. I think the Tide get up early and Texas gets a late touchdown to make it closer than it actually was.
