From TCU- Eight Horned Frogs have been named to Dave Campbell's 2010 Texas Football All-Texas College Team with Marcus Cannon and Tank Carder being tabbed the Best Offensive Lineman and Linebacker, respectively, in the State.

The 51st edition of the publication includes TCU quarterback Andy Dalton on the cover.

TCU is the most-represented school on the first-team offense with three selections in Cannon, center Jake Kirkpatrick and placekicker Ross Evans.

Carder and return specialist Jeremy Kerley are first-team picks for the defense.

Defensive end Wayne Daniels, nose tackle Kelly Griffin and safety Tejay Johnson represent TCU on the second-team defense.

Cannon, Carder, Daniels and Kirkpatrick help TCU tie for the national lead with four players on the 2010 Rotary Lombardi Award Watch List.

A Playboy Preseason All-American, the 6-foot-5, 350-pound Cannon had a dominant 2009 campaign as he did not allow a sack. The Odessa, Texas, native has been ranked by ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. as the third-best offensive tackle available in the 2011 National Football League draft.

Carder ranked second on TCU's nation-leading defense with 89 tackles last season. He topped the Horned Frogs while tying for second in the Mountain West Conference with 10 pass breakups. A native of Sweeny, Texas, Carder was tabbed by CollegeFootballNews.com as one of 12 "New Stars You Must Know" for the 2010 campaign.
