Since last week when the TCU/Wisconsin Rose Bowl matchup became the most likely scenario, fans and analysts started bringing up the size of Wisconsin’s team. I have heard multiple people mention how big the Badgers offensive line is and how the TCU defensive lines is significantly undersized. The size discrepancy these analysts are talking about is greatly exaggerated. Check out the chart below.

Yes, the Wisconsin o-line is big, but so is TCU’s. Yes, Wisconsin has big players on defense, but so does TCU. If you look at the information, you will see that Wisconsin’s numbers aren’t much larger than TCU’s. One advantage TCU does have that isn’t being mentioned is speed. It will be hard for the Badgers to block something they can’t catch.
