It's 10:25 on this wonderful school night, aka (another weekend of not studying and I'm on the computer) and I realized I didn't write today. But as I said in my how to start business from home entry, I'm going to make a part two. So here we go..
Well I'm assuming if your reading this that you're business has become a success OR you're trying to get ahead of the game. Which either way, great for you. Ambition is something we all need. So let's assume you're business has taken off the steps are simple of what to do..
1.) Save!! Save what you make from you're business. If you need to, put it into a separate account so you know not too touch it. But save it. Isolate it from you're other finances. But you should definitely put the mula you make else where in that savings. But whatever you decide to put into that account, do not touch. I repeat, do NOT touch. You'll thank me later.
2.) Make a goal of how much you want to save. I would say $5,000-$10,000 is a good amount.
3.) The fun part. Find a nice place to rent/buy and name it. This my friends, will be, YOUR WORK AREA! YAY! Out of your savings, splurge a little. Depending how much the place has cost you, take 25% of what you have left and buy materials you need, and things to decorate your business site.
5.) Create a website with your products and get that out there too.
4.) Make new flyer's! The flyer should consist of the name of your business. The address. Your phone number. Directions. Include pictures of your best work. Nice pictures. Hand them out. TO EVERYBODY. Put them in everybodys mailboxes. List you're aspiring business in the newspaper and you are ready to roll.
Eventually, if your shop becomes a real success, like people coming from other cities success, then you can even set up another one in another area! It's amazing how simple it seems but it all depends on you. Your talent. You getting out there. Your products and personality attracting people. Good luck with your business!
