TCU defensive end Jerry Hughes and linebacker Daryl Washington have been named first-team All-Americans by ESPN.com.

TCU is one of just four schools to have more than one player on the All-America team.

Hughes, the 2009 Lott Trophy and Ted Hendricks Award winner, is just the second two-time consensus All-American in TCU history. Also a finalist for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy and Rotary Lombardi Award, Hughes had 11 ½ sacks among 16 1/2 tackles for loss. He totaled a career-high 58 stops this season.

ESPN.com represents the fourth All-America team for Washington, also a Dick Butkus Award semifinalist. The Irving, Texas, native led TCU with 109 tackles, the most stops by a Horned Frog since 2004 (Martin Patterson, 131). Washington's 11 tackles for loss, including 3 1/2 in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, placed second on TCU behind only Hughes.

Hughes and Washington will both play in the Jan. 30 Senior Bowl before heading to the NFL Combine.
