After 24 hours of digesting the Mavs 97-87 game 6 loss to the Spurs in San Antonio, I feel like I can finally talk about. I am writing this a lot earlier than expected, but after three first round exits in the last four years, I have come to expect that.

I guess I will start with coaching. I hate blaming things on the coach, but Rick Carlisle was out coached by Greg Popovich in every aspect of the game. From rotations to strategy to anything you want to throw out there. The idea to bench Caron Butler for the 2^nd half of game 3, and not going to Roddy Beaubois earlier in the series will continue to baffle me.

Which brings me to my next point… I was one of those people who have been hesitant on Roddy B. I didn’t think he should get a ton of minutes and I didn’t expect Carlisle to play him, but when you go down 3-1 in the series, you have to change things up. Also, once Coach Carlisle became desperate and did decide to go with Roddy B, why did he sit him for the majority of the 4^th quarter of game 6?

Outside of Dirk, the so called “leaders” and “veterans” of this team were nonexistent. Jason Kidd and Jason Terry were horrendous. I usually defend Jason Kidd all I can, but I can’t say anything good about his performance in this series. This is back to back years where JET has been bad in the postseason.

Erick Dampier…I don’t expect much from you, but you failed to score one single basket the entire series and you are 7 feet tall. Not one! Not an offensive rebound for a put back, you didn’t luckily get open for a pass, you didn’t make one shot from the field. That is terrible.

Dirk was a beast and does what he does. I don’t have anything else to say about him. I hope he doesn’t opt of his contract, and I don’t think he will, but we will have to wait and see.

This was obviously another disappointing season for the Mavs. I thought this team was finally assembled to make a deep post season run, but I was wrong. I’m not really sure what to expect from next season, but it should be a long and interesting offseason.

Yang namanya waktu itu benar-benar rajin. Dia tidak pernah berhenti barang sedetik pun. Semua orang diseret oleh waktu, suka atau tidak suka. Gadis cantik jelita suatu hari akan menjadi nenek-nenek ompong dan bawel yang encoknya sering kambuh. Pria yang ganteng dan gagah, suatu hari akan menjadi engkong-engkong yang ngompol dan stroke yang sakit jantung.

Apakah hidup hanya seperti itu ? Kerja..kerja. .kerja.. lalu tua dan mati ?Tidak juga, kalo dilihat lebih teliti, ada orang yang hidupnya singkat tapi sangat bermakna, ada orang yang hidupnya sangat panjang tapi sia-sia. Nah, kalau anda ingin agar hidup tidak sia-sia, berikut beberapa tips untuk menghitung waktu dengan benar. Ada 4 cara menghitung waktu.

1. Cara Penjumlahan

Kalau hari ini kita berumur 17 tahun, maka tahun depan umur kita akan bertambah 1 tahun menjadi 18 tahun. Ini adalah cara menghitung umur yang paling sederhana, paling sesuai bagi anak kecil. Jadi, kalau anda masih menghitung umur dengan cara ini, tingkat kedewasaan anda masih anak-anak.

2. Cara Pengurangan

Setelah semakin sering kita ber-ulang tahun, akhirnya kita sadar bahwa setiap kali kita ulang tahun, sebenarnya umur kita bukannya bertambah, tapi berkurang. Setiap kali ulang tahun maka sisa umur kita semakin sedikit, kita semakin dekat pada akhir hayat. Orang yang sudah menyadari bahwa sisa hidupnya makin hari makin sedikit adalah orang yang sudah dewasa.

3. Cara Perkalian

Setelah sadar bahwa umur kita terus berkurang, maka kita harus tahu cara menghitung waktu yang ketiga. Yaitu bagaimana caranya melipatgandakan waktu yang kita miliki. Misalnya saat kena macet di jalan, kita membaca buku (tentu kalau punya supir). Ini adalah contoh bagaimana kita melipatgandakan waktu. Prinsipnya adalah : dalam waktu yang sama, kita memperoleh lebih banyak.

Contoh lain adalah : McDonald membuka cabang diseluruh dunia.Saat pemiliknya sedang tidur pun, masih ada cabangnya dibagian belahan dunia lain yang sedang menghasilkan uang. Coba kalau McDonald hanya punya satu cabang, berapa waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk mengumpulkan uang sebanyak yang dimilikinya sekarang ? Mungkin butuh ribuan tahun.

Cara ketiga ini adalah cara yang dipakai oleh orang-orang yang paling pandai diseluruh dunia. Mereka memikirkan bagaimana agar dalam hidup yang singkat bisa melakukan produktifitas yang lebih besar, bisa memperoleh sebanyak mungkin. Kalau kita berhasil memahami cara menghitung waktu yang ketiga maka kita adalah orang Pandai! Tapi kita belum bisa dikatakan sebagai orang yang bijaksana bila belum mengerti cara menghitung waktu yang keempat.

4. Cara Pembagian

Setelah berhasil melipatgandakan waktu yang kita miliki dan mendapat begitu banyak hal dalam hidup kita, maka yang harus kita lakukan kemudian adalah : Membagikannya. Kalau kita mendapat banyak ilmu, sebarkan semua sebelum kita mati. Kalau kita mendapat banyak harta, bagikan semua sebelum ajal menjemput.

Seorang filsuf berkata, “orang yang mati dalam keadaan kaya adalah orang yang paling bodoh”. Maksudnya, uang itu buat apa? Kan gak bisa dibawa mati bukan ? Memang sudah menjadi tugas kita untuk membagikan semua berkat yang pernah kita peroleh kepada orang lain. Dengan memahami cara menghitung waktu yang keempat maka hidup kita menjadi bermakna. Maka kita tak akan menyesal kapanpun kita harus mati.

TCU offensive tackle Marcus Cannon, linebacker Tank Carder, defensive end Wayne Daniels and center Jake Kirkpatrick have been named to the watch list for the 2010 Rotary Lombardi Award.

TCU is tied with North Carolina and Wisconsin for the most players (four) on the list.

Former Horned Frog defensive end Jerry Hughes was one of four finalists for last year's Rotary Lombardi Award.

The Rotary Lombardi Award is presented to the nation's top college football lineman (offense or defense) or linebacker who, in addition to outstanding performance and ability, best exemplifies the discipline of Vince Lombardi.

Cannon, a 6-foot-5, 350-pound senior from Odessa, Texas, is a two-time All-Mountain West Conference selection. He did not allow a sack last season.

Cannon has been identified by ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. as the third-best offensive tackle available in the 2011 National Football League draft.

In his first season as a starter, Carder ranked second on TCU with 89 tackles. He topped the Horned Frogs while tying for second in the Mountain West Conference with 10 pass breakups. The Sweeny, Texas, native was the MWC Defensive Player of the Week in last year's win over Utah, totaling nine stops and returning an interception for a touchdown. He had four tackles for loss in the regular-season finale versus New Mexico.

Carder was tabbed by CollegeFootballNews.com as one of 12 "New Stars You Must Know" for the 2010 season.

Daniels, like Carder, earned All-MWC honors in his first season as a starter. His 5 1/2 sacks were second on the Horned Frogs behind only Hughes (11 1/2). Daniels topped TCU with two fumble recoveries and placed fourth with nine tackles for loss. The senior from Kilgore, Texas, totaled a career-high eight stops in the 14-10 win at Clemson.

Kirkpatrick was one of six finalists for the 2009 Rimington Trophy, honoring the nation's top center.

A first-team All-American by SI.com, Kirkpatrick sets TCU's blocking scheme on each play. A Tyler, Texas, native, Kirkpatrick did not play football until his senior year of high school.

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama eulogized fallen civil rights leader Dorothy Height Thursday as a humble but tireless force for equality and justice.
"She never cared about who got the credit," the president said. "What she cared about was the cause. The cause of justice, the cause of equality, the cause of opportunity, freedom's cause."
"She too deserves a place of honor in American memory," Obama said of the civil rights leader who died last week at age 98. The president delivered one of the eulogies during Height's funeral at the National Cathedral in Washington.

Dear Little Rasha,

There are some things in your life, I want to inform you about. Things that are going to happen that will make you, you. Things that will remind you, to make the most out of every day you have.

- I hate to tell you this and it is quite possibly the hardest thing you will EVER endure in your life. On October, 13th 1995, your Daddy will be killed while in car crash. You will only be 6, and you will not understand why you're sitting in the hospital while everyone you love is in tears around you. It will never get easier to endure. Every time you hear about someone's Father or someone mentions the word Daddy, you will cry, and feel like you got punched in the stomach, but remember, you have an angel now, and he is looking down on you and smiling. +

- Right after this happens, you will meet your best friend in the entire world. He will make you laugh constantly till you pee your chonies but he will never laugh when you do. He will never make you share your toys, unless you want too. He will always let you win at games. He will cry when you cry and laugh when you laugh. You two are inseparable. On your 10th birthday he will leave you. He will come over and tell you that you're 10 now and you should no longer have an imaginary friend. It will break your heart and you will never quite recover, because imaginary or not, he was a damn good friend.

- Your Mother will start dating a man when you are around age 9. They will move in together and live together probably until they die. You will hate him and he is totally not a man worthy of your Mother, and you will get into many fights with him, and even send him to jail, but try to remember your Mother for some reason loves him, and she deserves to be happy. You have to learn to accept that, even if it seems impossible.

- Around the age of 12, your second oldest sister will jump off one of the highest bridges in California. She will land straight on her feet, impacting her heels 4 inches into her calf, where she will then be hit by a car. Your sister will be in the hospital and therapy for several years after this, and she will never mentally, physically or emotionally recover, but just be very grateful that she is alive.

- Sadly, you will experience most all of you sisters make the most horrible and insane choices, from suicide to hard core drug use. You will see things, no one should ever see. Accept them anyhow. You were put on this earth, and born as their sister to help them, and eventually all your effort pays off. In the end, things are not so bad.

- In 8th grade, you will kiss your first boyfriend ever. Dillion Knost. You probably shouldn't but he has gorgeous eyes and well there is no stopping you anyhow. He is your best friends neighbor and two years old. You will think you're in love with him, and then your Mother will move you to another town, in which you will be devastated, but he turns out to be a long time friend, dont worry.

-Unfortunately you will have your heart broken in High School. You will be such great friends and things will be perfect for a while, and then it will all come to an end. It's worth it though. He teaches you a lot of valuable things and trust me things work out for the better, so don't cry. Also, remember how the heartbreak feels, because you break a great friends heart too.

- In college, you will make some bad decisions, but a lot of those teach you valuable things so take advantage of them and learn from it. Soon enough you will be too old to use that as an excuse. Also, I know you will hate college, because its stressful and so long, but soak it up, in the end it will be so worth it.

- Remember that boy in Highschool you always wanted but he was Senior and you were a mere Sophomore? Yes, the one with the gorgeous blue eyes and impecable style, HIM. Well he turns out to be your boyfriend. Yes, all those moments spent crushing over him and lusting, he turns out to be yours, and you know what? He couldn't be more perfect and you guys are totally and hopelessly in love. +

In the end, you have a fantastic life ahead of you. I wish I could tell you that you won’t ever fail. I wish I could tell you that you won’t deal with too much hurt and heartache, but I can't. I will tell you, however, that from all this heartache and pain, you become an amazing woman, one that knows who she is, and what she will accept, and it all happend for a reason. Each one of these things shaped who you are today. If you haven't experienced it, you might not be where you are now. The good and THE bad parts. You'll still be a little confused on details, but I wouldn't worry about them so much, things fall into place, when the time is right.

So remember a few key things:

Laugh at yourself. Take too many photo's. Love every chance you get. Respect yourself, and love yourself. Work hard, but Play harder, Appreciate life and thank God everyday for yours.

and p.s. I know it sounds like a lot of bad happens, and well I wont sugar coat it... a lot does, but you have so much good too. Be thankful for those moments.
