From TCU Media Relations: TCU has sold out its allotment of 20,000 tickets for the Rose Bowl and is trying to obtain more to meet the heavy demand.

The No. 3 Horned Frogs (12-0) will face No. 5 Wisconsin (11-1) in the "Granddaddy of Them All®" Jan. 1 in Pasadena, Calif.

"We are extremely proud of how the Horned Frog Nation has responded to the honor we have to play in the Rose Bowl," TCU director of intercollegiate athletics Chris Del Conte said. "We turned Arizona into a sea of purple at last year's Fiesta Bowl, and we're excited to be doing the same in Southern California.

"The demand we have for tickets shows the momentum in our football program. It also speaks volumes to the support TCU receives. We can't thank our season-ticket holders, Frog Club members, alumni, students, faculty, staff and fans enough for the investment they're making in TCU."

Should TCU be able to obtain additional tickets, orders will be taken Monday. Individuals wishing to get tickets can call the TCU athletics ticket office at (817) 257-FROG (3764) and be placed on a waiting list that will be filled Monday.

The Dec. 8 deadline had passed for season-ticket holders and Frog Club members to request their tickets.

Rose Bowl merchandise is available through TCU's on-line store (http://shop.gofrogs.com) and at the TCU Bookstore.
