When Nike debuted their Pro Combat uniform for TCU earlier this season, they also gave the team some exclusive Nike Air Trainer 1’s in TCU colors. From everything I have gathered they only gave those shoes to the team and released nine pair to the public as part of a limited pack. The packs sold out of the stores immediately and resellers have them on eBay for $800 and up.

I wasn’t about to pay that much for a pair of shoes, so I did the second best thing, I made my own. NikeId.com has the Air Trainer 1 available for customization. You can pretty much design the shoes colors how you want. You can design the shoe to look almost exactly like the ones Nike gave the team. I designed the pair below.
