The 17th-ranked TCU football team opened preseason camp Sunday and held their first practice yesterday afternoon.
The Frogs' opening five practices take place Monday through Friday at 4 p.m. Just once, next Saturday, Aug. 15, will TCU practice twice on the same day. Those sessions will be at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Classes begin at TCU on Monday, Aug. 24. The Frogs open the 2009 campaign Sept. 12 at Virginia.
TCU's 41-10 record since 2005 ranks as the seventh-best mark in the nation. The Frogs have won at least 10 games five times in the last seven seasons, including four 11-win campaigns.
TCU has been to 10 bowl games in the last 11 seasons and is one of just seven teams to have a current bowl winning streak of at least four in a row.
