TCU Pro Day 2010

TCU held their Pro Day this morning and unfortunately I was unable to attend because the Mavs practiced today, but there are a lot of good things being said.

NFL.com had a great blog posting up today, here are a couple highlights

It wasn’t long ago that TCU was a football program with few draft prospects, poor facilities and little interest from NFL scouts on its pro day. Things have changed dramatically in short order.

The 24 teams that showed up for Friday’s pro day had no trouble noticing the difference: TCU now boasts state-of-the-art facilities and many more NFL-caliber football prospects.

Hughes (6-foot-2 ¼, 254 pounds) did position drills only, and looked smooth and athletic doing them. He stood by his combine numbers.

Washington (6-2, 229) ran 4.54 seconds twice in the 40-yard dash, ran 7.06 seconds in the three-cone drill, and did all the position drills. He stood by everything else at the combine.

Clint Gresham (6-3, 238), long snapper, ran 5.13 and 5.11 in the 40 and did 12 bench presses. He may be one of the best deep snappers to emerge out of college football in the last 10 years. He is accurate and snaps with a lot of velocity.
