Fashion designer Jackie Christie shared her wildly successful and well received fashion line with Los Angeles Friday night, during the closing celebrations of Los Angeles Fashion Week at the Fashion Minga show. With a broad range of casual to classic and super sexy pieces, Jackie Christie's line won the hearts of the Los Angeles audience fashion photographers and retail buyers alike.

Christie has enjoyed designing clothes for most of her life, but debuted her newest line in Los Angeles with her official invitation to join the Fashion Week festivities. Combining her casual line of Colored Girl fashions with her designer couture Spring/Summer 2010 collection, Jackie's models rocked the catwalk with a formula of wearable sexy separates, dresses, coats and suits that will not soon be forgotten by fashion connoisseurs in the City of Angels.

"I have never felt so elated and so honored to show my line," states Christie. "The audience reaction sent chills up my spine and I couldn't believe how many approached me for orders right after the show. With proceeds benefiting the Infinite Love Foundation for student scholarships, I can't thank Los Angeles enough for the warm reception."

As a working mother of three and wife of NBA great, Doug Christie, Jackie stepped out as her own woman in Hollywood. Her designs reflect the importance of celebrating the diverse roles of all women with respect to their individual beauty. In addressing the diverse age, shape, size and ethnicity of the modern woman, Jackie maintained fashionable trends and sex appeal in her show. Her models ranged from tall to short, slender to shapely and gained the respect of media, buyers and a new group of perspective customers who found a special connection to her line.
