*TCU improved to 6-0 to match its best start since 2003. It's the third time since 1942 that the Horned Frogs have won their opening six games and the eighth time in their history.
*The Horned Frogs won their 11th straight home game and, dating back to 1999, improved to 53-6 in their last 59 contests at Amon G. Carter Stadium.
*TCU improved to 57-1 under head coach Gary Patterson when allowing 17 points or less.
*TCU and Colorado State were even in turnover margin. The Horned Frogs are now 40-1 when ahead (29-1) or even (11-0) in turnover margin the last five seasons.
*The Horned Frogs improved to 21-1 in day games since the start of the 2005 campaign.
*TCU limited Colorado State to just 182 yards of total offense. The Frogs have now held two opponents to fewer than 200 yards. Virginia had only 177 in the season opener. Only Clemson (309) has more than 287 yards on the Horned Frogs.
*TCU had 275 yards rushing and 224 passing to win for the 27th consecutive time when rushing for more yards than passing.
*TCU has won 35 consecutive games when rushing for at least 167 yards and is 40-2 under Patterson when totaling at least 200 yards on the ground.
*The Horned Frogs held the time of possession edge on Colorado State (30:22 to 29:38) and have won 36 of their last 38 games when holding that advantage.
*The Horned Frogs won for the 30th consecutive time when attempting 34 or fewer passes. Andy Dalton was 15-of-23 for 211 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Marcus Jackson completed his only attempt for 13 yards.
*TCU defeated Colorado State for the sixth straight time.
*TCU led at the half (17-6) for the fifth time in six games this season.
*Recorded 2 sacks for a loss of 16 yards as part of 4 tackles in the game
