It looks like Mike Leach, his football team, and their fat little girlfriends have backed out of their game with TCU next season. Wow, what a shock.

It says they had to drop it to accommodate the TV schedule, but we all know Tech doesn’t want to get beat by TCU again. Their powerful offense put up just 3 measly points the last time these teams faced off.

To accommodate the ABC or ESPN broadcast of the Texas game, a previously scheduled game against TCU will be moved back to a future schedule.

September 4 - SMU

September 11 - at New Mexico

September 18 - Texas (ABC or ESPN)

September 25 - Bye

October 2 - at Iowa State

October 9 - Baylor (in Dallas)

October 16 - Oklahoma State

October 23 - at Colorado

October 30 - at Texas A&M

November 6 - Missouri

November 13 - at Oklahoma

November 20 - Weber State

November 27 – Houston

What I think is funny is, they drop TCU from their schedule, but add Weber State. Seriously?

With these recent happenings, TCU now has an open date in their schedule. There have been rumors swirling for the last month or so about a TCU/UCLA matchup at Cowboys Stadium. This looks to be the most reasonable guess at this point, especially since UCLA was scheduled to play Texas on September 18th ,which now isn’t happening because Texas and Texas Tech will play that weekend.
